When did you start kitesurf and what inspired you to do such a “different" sport? I started kitesurfing in 2008, my dad was into windsurfing and he pushed me to try kitesurfing and I thought it looked really fun being able to jump so high .Who are your current sponsors and how do they help you to achieve your goals? North Kites and Boards are really awesome to work with especially the Vegas. It is perfect for freestyle tricks.
What is kiteboard for you? Work , amusement , or way of life? Kiteboarding for me is a job but at the same time its my lifestyle :-) Υou have started kiteboarding recently and Your progress is remarkable! What's the Secret of Your Success? I believe that the gymnastics that I used to do when I was younger helped a lot, meaning I was already used to twists and motions. Also having a good mental state of mind.
If I am at home it all depends on the wind But if I am away on a trip I try kite everyday for about 3 hours. Do you do any other sports that help you be physically fit for Kiteboard? I do some Yoga. Describe your best and your worst moment in kitesurfing. My best moment in kitesurfing was when I landed my first air handle pass, I screamed very loudly! The worst moment was when I was learning I got picked up by a gust and thrown back down onto the beach with one of my legs straight, I torn all the ligaments in my ankle so could not do any sport for 5 months! You have been in the best places in the world for kiteboarding! Which of them is your favorite and why? My favourite spot so far is Safety Bay in Western Australia. The wind is always nice and consistent and it is very safe for learning new tricks. It is a pond so you cannot get lost at sea .You have been in Greece recently, at Prasonisi, one of the best kite spot is Greece. How was your experince there? are you planing to visit Greece any time soon again and what others spots you are informed about? I thought Prasonisi was an amazing place to kite. You can enjoy the waves on one side of the sand spit or you can push for your best freestyle tricks on the butter flat water on the other side. I had an awesome time there! (sunny and windy everyday too which is a bonus) Yes I do plan to visit Greece again, I would like to explore as many places as I can there.
